Everything you need to know about our 3-email anti-spam sequence cap, 1x recovery notifications, multi-region probes, and programmatic REST API keys.
Every time our background checker detects that your monitored website, API, or service is DOWN, it sends an outage notification email and increments your monitor's continuous down counter: Alert #1 of 3, Alert #2 of 3, and Alert #3 of 3. Once down_email_count reaches 3 during the same continuous outage sequence, Teeya Uptime suppresses further DOWN emails while continuing to record every probe in your dashboard.
The moment a subsequent probe returns your expected HTTP status code (e.g., 200 OK), Teeya Uptime automatically closes the open OutageIncident, calculates total downtime duration, sends exactly 1 recovery email notification, and resets your continuous email counter back to 0 / 3 for any future incidents.
Yes! Each monitor has its own configurable alert_email field (plus optional webhook endpoint). You can route production API alerts to an engineering distribution list while sending marketing website alerts to your web team.
You can monitor public websites (website), REST or GraphQL API endpoints (api) with custom HTTP methods (GET, HEAD, POST), custom headers, expected HTTP status codes, and optional response-body keyword assertions, as well as background services and TCP ports (service).
No. Unlike analytics tools that require JavaScript snippets, Teeya Uptime is 100% agentless. Our external probe workers test your URLs and APIs from the outside—measuring real-world DNS resolution, TCP connection, TLS handshake, and HTTP response times.
Yes. Every HTTPS probe inspects your TLS peer certificate, recording the issuer and calculating exact days remaining until expiry so you never experience an unexpected expired-certificate outage.
Generate a secret API key (tyu_...) from the API Keys tab in your dashboard. Pass it via the Authorization: Bearer tyu_... or X-API-Key header to query /api/v1/monitors/, /api/v1/uptime/summary/, /api/v1/uptime/checks/, /api/v1/uptime/incidents/, or trigger an immediate on-demand probe via POST /api/v1/uptime/check-now/.
Yes. Using your private vendor token (tyu_admin_...), your backend can call POST /api/v1/admin/provision-account/ to create a pre-verified user account, attach their first uptime monitor, and receive an active tyu_... API key in a single atomic JSON request.
Our reliability engineering team is happy to help configure custom API probes or webhook payloads.
