Stateless Uptime Monitoring API Reference

Register Websites, APIs, and Services, trigger active uptime checks, and query outage incidents & 3-stage anti-spam email notification logs through stateless HTTP requests.

Stateless Secret Key Authentication

All API requests are completely stateless. Pass your secret key (tyu_...) in the Authorization header or X-API-Key header. You can also sign directly into the web dashboard via /login?secret=tyu_...:

POST /api/v1/keys/

Generate a new stateless secret key programmatically using your account credentials (or from the Dashboard UI).

POST /api/v1/monitors/ (alias: /api/v1/websites/)

Register a new Website, REST API, or external Service to monitor. Supports monitor_type (website, api, service), http_method (GET, HEAD, POST), and alert_email.

GET /api/v1/monitors/

List all monitored websites, APIs, and services belonging to the authenticated API key owner along with their live status and notification sequence state.

GET PUT DELETE /api/v1/monitors/<uuid:monitor_id>/

Inspect, update (name, domain, target_url, monitor_type, alert_email, is_active), or delete a specific monitor by its UUID.

POST /api/v1/monitors/<uuid:monitor_id>/check/

Executes an immediate uptime check on the target endpoint (or accepts {"simulate": "down"} / {"simulate": "up"} for testing) and enforces the Anti-Spam Notification State Machine:

Consecutive DOWN Checks #1, #2, #3: Sends an outage notification email on each check (sequence_number = 1, 2, 3).
Consecutive DOWN Check #4+: Suppresses further DOWN emails (email_suppressed = true) to prevent inbox spam while the outage continues.
Transition from DOWN → UP: Sends 1 recovery email (email_type = "recovery", sequence_number = 1) and resets consecutive_down_count = 0 and consecutive_down_emails_sent = 0.

GET /api/v1/monitors/<uuid:monitor_id>/uptime/?days=30

Retrieve aggregated uptime percentage, response latency (avg/min/max ms), recent checks, outage incidents, and email notification logs for a monitor.

GET POST /api/v1/admin/provision/

Authenticate with a Master Vendor Key (tyu_admin_... generated in Django Admin) to create or update customer accounts, assign subscription plans, provision initial monitors, and receive their one-click dashboard login URL.
