Privacy Policy

Teeya Uptime ("we", "our", or "us") provides external website, API, and service availability monitoring, SSL certificate health checks, and automated outage email/webhook notifications. Because Teeya Uptime is an external infrastructure monitoring tool—not a visitor tracking service—we never track your end users or place third-party cookies on your domains.

1. Information We Collect

• Account & Alerting Details: Your name, login email address, and designated monitor alert recipient email addresses (alert_email) used to dispatch 3x continuous DOWN notifications and 1x UP recovery alerts.
• Monitored Endpoint Configuration: Target URLs, domain names, HTTP methods, expected HTTP status codes, optional keyword assertions, custom request headers, and webhook URLs that you configure for uptime probing.
• Synthetic Probe Telemetry: HTTP status codes, response latency in milliseconds, TLS certificate issuer and expiry timestamps, and diagnostic error messages returned by your monitored endpoints during scheduled or manual checks.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your configuration and probe telemetry exclusively to:

• Execute scheduled and on-demand availability checks from our probe regions (US-East, EU-West, AP-South, Local).
• Enforce our Smart 3-Email Anti-Spam Sequence (sending at most 3 continuous DOWN notifications per outage and 1 recovery notification when your service returns to UP).
• Authenticate programmatic requests using your hashed secret API keys (tyu_...).

3. Secret API Keys & Security

Secret API keys (tyu_...) are hashed with SHA-256 prior to storage. Only the key prefix is stored in plaintext for identification in your dashboard. Custom request headers configured on API monitors are used strictly during outbound HTTP probes to your specified endpoints.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete any Uptime Monitor, Outage Incident history, or API Key at any time directly from your dashboard or via DELETE /api/v1/monitors/<monitor_key>/. Deleting a monitor permanently purges all associated probe check logs and alert dispatch logs.
